With almost 60 years of educating young children and as an American Montessori Society-accredited school, Bellevue Montessori School strives to offer a model Montessori environment and experience while providing the best possible care for each student. The following are expectations for Primary Co-Teachers at Bellevue Montessori School, which include the following goals:

Awaken a child’s spirit and imagination

Encourage a developmental desire for independence

Foster a high sense of self-esteem

Help develop in all children the qualities of kindness, courtesy and self- discipline

Teach children to observe, question and explore ideas independently

Help children master social skills and knowledge

This is a full-time position that includes student observations, record keeping, individualized lesson planning, parent communication, collaboration with Co-Teacher and our Montessori community. Mentoring will be provided from our Primary leadership team.
