Description: Woodinville Montessori School is seeking enthusiastic, energetic Early Childhood and Elementary Clubhouse Assistants for our after school care programs. Qualified individuals must have experience working with early childhood or elementary aged children, have obtained some course work in child development, and demonstrate joy in working with children.
Responsibilities would include:
- Overseeing the safety and well being of students
- Planning interesting and relaxing after school activities
- Supervising playground time
- Preparing and serving snacks
- Accurate roll and recordkeeping
- Cleaning and care of environment and equipment
- General cleaning of school common areas including kitchen, laundry and bathrooms
The following training is required for the position and if not current will be done on the at the school’s expense:
- WA State Food Handler’s Permit
- HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens
- STARS 30-hour Child Care Basics Course
Individuals interested in, or familiar with, Montessori education who are flexible, dependable, caring and responsible should apply.
This position is part time with shifts ending at 6:00PM. Hours vary based on the position assigned from 15 hours up to 30 hours a week on days when school is in session. We offer competitive wages based on training, education and experience.
