We are a Beach Town on the spectacular Northwest Washington Coast in Pacific Beach WA . In 2012 we inaugurated Seabrook Montessori School (now named North Coast Montessori School) and welcomed our first class of elementary students, grades 1-5. Next year will extend our elementary program to 8th grade, and with the construction of our new Elementary Building, we are now ready to add the much anticipated Preschool-Kindergarten to our Montessori program. The Montessori Pre-K will move into the current elementary location, a lovely cottage in Seabrook, complete with a garden and covered front porch, ideal for working on projects or quiet reading time . Outdoor activities are emphasized, with the ocean and estuaries as our onsite science biology lab and the Seabrook farm as an additional resource.

    We are recruiting a vibrant Early Childhood Montessori Head Teacher. Requirements are Montessori Pre-K Certification (ages 3-6), with WA state certification and classroom teaching experience a plus. We are looking for an excellent and dedicated teacher with an enthusiastic desire to live at the Beach in a fairly remote, but very supportive and close knit family-oriented community.     Montessori Teaching Certificate from an accredited program preferred
    High School Diploma/GED - College preferred

    Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create partnerships with families and staff
